The Obsidian Koto 無面琴師

Original Dark Japanese Fantasy and Eerie Koto Ambient music by The Obsidian Koto (無面琴師). We craft Cinematic Folk and Dark Mythic soundscapes inspired by Japanese Mythology and Yokai Lore. Featuring the Koto and Shakuhachi, our tracks are perfect for Immersive Reading, RPG Background Music, and Dark Meditation.

The Craft: As a digital conductor, I blend melodic fragments with advanced sound synthesis and generative AI to expand ancient themes into mythic soundscapes. I also direct and refine the Neo-Japonism visual art for each piece, ensuring a seamless fusion of haunting imagery and sound. Every project is meticulously edited in post-production to capture the 'eerie elegance' of the void—a deliberate marriage of ancient spirit and modern digital craft.
