We’re a couple who, along with our family, have been homesteading our entire lives. This way of living isn’t a trend for us — it’s our heritage, our daily rhythm, and our commitment to a healthier, more grounded life.
On our northern Alberta homestead, we raise our own beef, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. We grow a huge garden that feeds us through the summer and fills our pantry for the long, cold winters. Every jar we put up, every animal we raise, and every seed we plant is part of our promise to ourselves:
