The Lion in Us

The Lion in Us is a six-member group of 19-year-olds who first got together in 2013. They consist of four main vocalists—Zerlene, Prisheela, Rachel, Tiffany—and guitarists Kaiwen and Wilson, also known as the "back seat boys".

Quoting Friedrich Schiller, "Did you think the lion was sleeping because he didn't roar?", The Lion in Us aims to strive forth in courage despite initial dormancy as perceived by others. Making their first public appearance in January 2014 at the Singapore Polytechnic Open House, they have since been prancing the grounds in an effort to rise up in the ever-precarious food chain. 

Although wild when awakened, these lions usually prefer being playful cubs. They enjoy savouring ice-cream and cupcakes while cuddled together in a close, homely circle. With this unbreakable bond, it is no wonder that they bring life to their acoustic covers and originals, embracing each others' voices with warm harmonies.
