the lace bee

Welcome to The Lace Bee, a little corner of the internet for bobbin lace, crafting and stories worth sharing.

I’m Liz, a lacemaker, knitter and collector of books and bobbins. Join me for lace projects, techniques, treasured finds and the pleasure of making things by hand.

You’ll also find The Christmas Lace Notes, with festive films, traditions, thoughtful gifts and a little seasonal mischief.

Put the kettle on, pick up your latest project and make yourself comfortable.
