Welcome to The Kiwi Country Girl YouTube channel!

I'm Laura and I live on a small homestead in the Waikato, New Zealand with my husband Josh and our 4 country kids. We raise chickens, lambs and pigs on our section and also run a beef farm nearby. We grow as much of our own produce as we can in the garden. I love cooking and baking from scratch and doing as much preserving of food as I can fit into my busy days as a mum of 4 young kids!

I love sharing what I know and what I'm learning along the way and hope to encourage you to try and make something from scratch or grow some of your own food. I also love learning and being inspired by others, so let's get to know each other!
