The Kerry Gray Project

The Kerry Gray Project is a collective of songwriters whose entire identity is built from the studio driven, architect producer tradition – not on the stage or through performance. Although not a new idea, the “studio-as-an-instrument” approach has been used since the 1960s; from early Beach Boys, Steely Dan, The Alan Parsons Project, early Nine Inch Nails, to Tame Impala and even early Billie Eilish. In those cases, at least one musician played one or more of the instruments themselves or they used session musicians. The core of the Kerry Gray Project is the husband-and-wife team of Kerry and Alissa Gray. The music of The Kerry Gray Project is performed entirely by accomplished session artists from Los Angeles, CA to the U.K. to Argentina to South Africa.
