Based in Jackson, Tennessee, the halfway point between two music meccas, The Kernal is apart yet plugged into the fertile Nashville music scene, A Southern gentleman with an old soul, The Kernal is deeply tied to the legacy and showmanship of the wandering musician and historic Grand Ole Opry.  Along with his band, the New Strangers, The Kernal tours the country spreading his particular brand of Southern mystique.
