TheJIDA

In March 2015, the Joint IED Defeat Organization (which was established by the Department of Defense in 2006) was approved to become a combat support agency  and renamed to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency. The JIDA will work to help warfighters adapt against battlefield surprise now and into the future. 

We welcome comments and discussion about our videos, but we do ask that you follow a few guidelines when posting comments:
 1) No profanity will be tolerated. Profanity in comments will result in immediate deletion.
 2) No personal attacks or derogatory remarks will be tolerated.
 3) Any type of repeated spam messages may be deleted at the discretion of the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs.
