The James Whale Orchestra

The James Whale Orchestra performs live soundtracks to great classic movies. We combine live soloists and state of the art music technology to create the illusion of an unlimited orchestra. The JWO is Oliver Parr (composer and director) and Panayiotis Iouannou (music production). Oliver has a background in classical music and Panayiotis is a former DJ and music producer. Named after great English movie director James Whale, the JWO have created a unique sound with productions including Whale's 1931 Frankenstein, Murnau's City Girl, and Hitchcock's Blackmail.
