Overview.

From the records of Athena Collage Cambridge, a set of Wax cylinder recordings by Titus Lawrence (the legendary war hero, Lawrence of Mesopotamia) were recently discovered. Together, they comprise the most complete collection of the history of the Isopian Empire (defined in Dr Sirius Johnson's Lexicography as 'the land under the domain of Earthly gods, free from the dark powers of the hidden world). These were made in the aftermath of the First Great Continental War, as a means of preserving history, should a war come about so catastrophic it would wipe all knowledge from the public record. Since such an event took place, these records have been restored to use. These  are the stories of how our world was formed, and what lies beyond it - for those brave enough to learn.
