The Herefordshire Gardener

Welcome to The Herefordshire Gardener! 🌿

I’m Aaron, and it’s a pleasure to have you here. If you share my love for David Austin Roses, English gardens, and country life, you’re in the right place!

My partner and I moved to the Herefordshire countryside in Nov 2022 with our three dogs — Bella, Winnie & Doris (our lovely rescue girl). Our 3-acre garden is filled with beautiful David Austin roses, some long-established and many newly planted since our arrival.

In 2023 we welcomed our charming chickens — Babs, Betty, Ethel, Ginger & Olive, and in Apr 2025 our adorable alpacas — Chicory, Daisy & Fern joined us! We’re also excited to welcome Maple & Jasmine to the herd in early 2026.

Join us as we grow, learn, and share the joy of gardening, roses, and life in the countryside. 🌹✨
