Welcome to The GRID WI! We are here to provide answers to the questions you have on starting, growing, or expanding a small business in Northern Wisconsin. The GRID WI also provides education on business topics as well as connects you to other valuable organizations that can assist you as well. 
 
The GRID WI (Guiding Rural Innovation and Development) is a collaborative economic development initiative focused on building a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Northern Wisconsin to generate a vibrant and diverse rural economy.

The GRID is designed to provide a network among new and growing businesses that connects them to information and resources. Collaborators include the Langlade County EDC, Vilas County EDC, Oneida County EDC, GLITC, Florence County EDC, Lac du Flambeau Business Development, Grow North Regional EDC, UW Extension, ArtStart/Create Northwoods, and Nicolet College.
