The Giving Exchange

Rod Mickels, the founder of The Giving Exchange, knew he could make a difference by creating opportunities for children in Africa--not with handouts, but with education, skills, a thriving economy, and self-sustaining income. As a businessman, he knew how to connect people with the supplies and skills they needed to build success. With his vision in mind, he reached out to his daughter, Alissa Mickels Pelatan, and together, they founded The Giving Exchange in 2013.
