By chance rather by design, I have become a Glorious Nomad (or as my daughter refers to me "Fabulously Homeless")
In 2009, I found Panama. Actually, Panama found me! "All Things [Fell] Apart" for me after losing a son in '06 only 6 months after my husband's 1st stroke. He passed in 2010. Meanwhile, the '08 crash took everything else. Depressed, anxious, on meds, 90 lbs heavier, in debt and lost, I started looking for a way out. The only thing holding me together were my 2 other adult children who to this day, support me in all my insanity. I heard about The Free Zone in Colon, Panama (a duty free city within the city) and thought I'd buy things from there and sell them on Ebay while I slept: the only time left in my day. I took a cheap Spirit flight and set off to salvage my life in a country where I didn't even speak the language: "Ignorance is Bliss" and "We Plan; God Laughs" as they say. His plan for me, however, was beyond my wildest dreams. Stay tuned and "Trust Your Journey"!
