The Expedition Family

The Expedition Family has set sail with their five children (one of them a Netflix star) for ten years to circumnavigate the earth on their bluewater sailboat. 

Each year we take each of our five children on a rite of passage adventure somewhere in the world; which has made them the youngest for all kinds of achievements — routes up Kilimanjaro, mountains in the Andes, etc.

But each year, we see fewer fish in the oceans. Each year the colors become more grey. Each year the environment is becoming more bland, more plastic, more domesticated.

Over the next ten years we are sailing with our children to the most remote places on earth, where life is still thriving and where the deadly touch of human ambition has not yet destroyed. This next decade will be both unimaginably beautiful and desecratingly sad as we revel in the life, bid adieu to our planet as-is, and attempt to bring awareness to whats disappearing forever. As Hemingway said, we “love sailing forbidden seas.”
