Thee Quiet Romantics are a Sydney-based, AI-assisted pop and soul project created by songwriter and producer Ash Wells, blending the melodic warmth of classic harmony-pop with the groove of modern sweet soul.

Inspired by the timeless songcraft of Paul McCartney, The Beatles and The Hollies, alongside the understated soul of artists like The Charities and Thee Sacred Souls

At the heart of every song is a human idea. Ash writes the lyrics, develops and sings the core melodies, and creates the basic musical and production concepts. AI tools are then used as part of the recording process to help realise the finished arrangements, instrumentation and vocals.

The aim isn't to replace songwriting or musicianship, but to use new technology much like another studio tool — taking songs that begin with a melody, lyric and musical idea and turning them into fully realised recordings.
