The Enoch Line

The Book of Enoch — the text removed from the Bible. What it says 
about the Watchers, the Nephilim, and the world before the flood.

The Book of Enoch was written in the Second Temple period and quoted 
directly in the New Testament letter of Jude. It was then left out of 
almost every Christian canon. Only the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo 
Church preserved it complete, in Ge'ez. In 1947, Aramaic fragments of 
it were found in the caves at Qumran among the Dead Sea Scrolls — 
older than any surviving manuscript of the Bible itself.

The Enoch Line is a documentary channel about that book and the texts 
around it. The Book of Enoch explained chapter by chapter: the descent 
of the Watchers, the Nephilim, the Book of Giants, what Genesis 6 
leaves unexplained, the Ethiopian canon, and the long argument over 
why the book was removed from scripture.
