Child abuse is all too common in our society and even here in the Davidson and Davie County, North Carolina area, and it can have devastating long-term effects on those affected. At The Dragonfly House Children’s Advocacy Center, our mission is to reduce the impact of all forms of child abuse on children, their families, and society through immediate, coordinated, and child-focused services, education, and advocacy. Our center brings every process a child must go through underneath one safe, neutral roof. We provide forensic interviews, child abuse medical examinations, victim advocacy, mental health treatment, multi-disciplinary teamwork, coordinated case review services, and community outreach.
