With the intensity and brutality of the old west, The Deadwood Pioneer comes at us sounding at times like Rob Zombie & Chris Stapleton got into a musical bar fight. With big southern rock overtures coupled with dark bluegrass melodies and a dirty blues groove, this is wild western hard rock for hillbillies & country punk for drunks.
He has a collection of tracks that are at the rockiest edge of country and the western edge of hard rock. The sound is carved from a love of Waylon Jennings, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Hardy & Metallica in equal measure. Deep bass lines rumble beneath sweet banjo licks with his trademark thick guitar groove seated firmly in the saddle. His authoritative voice in massive choruses conjures hints of Danzig, Astbury & Hetfield.
