The Dark Academicals

Welcome to The Dark Academicals, the podcast where we delve into the mythos of dark academia one book at a time.

We're Sophie and Sarah and we run the dark academia literary podcast, The Dark Academicals, as we search for the dark academia books that can live up to the mighty heights of Donna Tartt's 'The Secret History'.

As longtime readers, bloggers and academia nerds, we analysed 'The Secret History' to uncover just what makes a book dark academia and are comparing every other book assigned to the genre against our framework to see how it compares.
