The Czech Nomad

I’m Kytka Jezek—a Czech-born writer and full-time nomad living between million-dollar kitchen islands and the back of my Subaru Wilderness. After Hurricane Helene washed away my world in 2024, I hit the road to start over with a keyboard, a sense of wonder, and a very judgmental service Shiba Inu.

The Journey:

The Dual Life: I spend my time house-sitting luxury estates (baking koláče in fancy ovens) and car-camping under desert stars.
Everything Czech: Preserving my heritage through daily stories of history, folklore, and traditional recipes.
The Storyteller: I’m a ghostwriter, poet, and children’s book author currently chronicling the adventures of a runaway apricot koláč.
Richard the Shiba: My sassy co-pilot and unpaid co-creator who provides the side-eye at every national park and beach we visit.

This is a journey of reclaiming my path, celebrating Czech traditions with humor, and finding the beauty in a life lived in motion.
