The Church at 242

The Church at 242 is a church family with deep roots and a bold vision. Founded in the summer of 1994 as Needham Road Baptist Church, we began as a small group of believers committed to planting a church in our local community. 

From meeting in a neighborhood clubhouse to establishing a permanent home along what is now State Highway 242, God has continually expanded our reach. Since moving into our current facility in 2001, we’ve embraced a kingdom-minded vision by planting and partnering with 11 churches and ministries across cultures and communities, including international, Spanish-speaking, Jewish evangelism, cowboy church, and trucking ministry efforts.

Today, The Church at 242 continues to seek where and how God is leading next. Our mindset has always been, “Why can’t we?”—and we’re excited for what God has in store for the future.
