The Center for Ballet and the Arts at NYU

The Center for Ballet and the Arts is an international research institute for artists and scholars of ballet and its related arts and sciences. It exists to inspire new ideas and new ballets, expanding the way we think about the art form's history, practice, and performance in the 21st century.

CBA’s public programming is designed to expand our understanding of dance by featuring both artists and scholars and by offering live performance and intellectual content. 

These events are held in partnership with arts institutions, academic centers, and museums across New York City. These collaborations enable us to add new dimensions to current cultural conversations.
