The Cake Escape

Smashing the patriarchy while eating cake – THE CAKE ESCAPE is a virtual band of five animated members. With their slogan “Diversity.Equality.Unity.” they stand for equal rights while chanting feminist and anti-racist lyrics. The drawn characters merge with reality in live-action animation and the band invites you – with charm and humor – to sing and dance along. In the city of Graz THE CAKE ESCAPE takes a stand against discrimination in public spaces with murals and dance performances.
