Nobody ever really studies science in school. School science means studying books rather than nature. School science also consists mostly of pointless busywork, memorising instead of understanding. 

Real science is none of that. Science, or the study of nature, is endlessly thrilling and exciting. It'll also change you. Once you learn the big ideas of science, there's no going back.
