The Bereans-What Does God Say?

Loving and trusting Jesus Christ through the seemingly ordinary events of everyday life.

The Bereans begins with the questions hiding inside ordinary life.

A medical mystery. A family moment. A mistake. A conversation. A trip. Something I never understood.

Then we ask: What does God say?

I’m Paul K. Shitabata, M.D.—a retired physician, Christian author, musician, husband, and father. Through true stories from medicine, family, work, travel, history, culture, and everyday life, I explore the questions we face and turn to God’s Word for answers.

My journey from atheism to faith in Jesus Christ still shapes everything here: ask the question, search the Scriptures, and follow where God’s Word leads.
