Hi! I am Dr. Smriti Mahajan. I have been practising astronomy in India since 2014. I like to explore evolution of galaxies and different facets of the large-scale structure of the universe by analysing multi-wavelength data. I earned my masters in Physics from the University of Delhi, and PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of Birmingham, UK. I am deeply passionate about making fundamental astronomy accessible to everyone. I believe that everyone should learn a little bit about Space just to feel the awe and humility that only studying the vastness of the universe can offer.

On this channel I share lecture style videos on various topics in Astronomy and Astrophysics (A&A) fit for beginners.
I have also authored a book titled "Exercises in astronomical data analysis for beginners".
