The American College of Greece Libraries

The American College of Greece has three libraries: the John S. Bailey Library, the Pierce Library and the Alba Library.  

John S. Bailey Library is the library of Deree, and it is located at the Agia Paraskevi campus. It is an attractive and modern environment for studying, conducting research or relaxing with peers. John S. Bailey Library was designed in 1973 and dedicated in 1975. Two decades later, in 1995, work began on the expansion of the facility. The reconstructed building, almost twice the size of the original, was inaugurated in 1997. In 2008, the library was renamed in honor of John S. Bailey, the College’s 6th president, who served the college from 1975 to 2008.
