10 gruelling years of Emergency Medicine. Orthopaedics. Intensive care. Heart surgery. Paediatrics. Psychiatry. Ship's surgeon.
20 years of Family Medicine. Unplanned. FIVE attempts to leave. I hadn't chosen Medicine. Medicine had chosen me. 

During COVID I wanted to get a message out about vitamin D. I called Dr John Campbell. He filmed our conversation. 2.5 million views. I realised there was more to say. And we don't know so much. That's not a failure. That's medicine.

Medicine often runs on autopilot. But patients aren't averages. When nobody asks the question that isn't on the checklist, you miss it.
