The Hoof Doctor and Sons

I am a cattle hoof trimmer who lives in Pennsylvania. I work on a lot of small 40 to 60 cow herds and a large number of those are Amish farms. I love working for the Amish and get to see stuff that many people don't ever see. I've been a hoof trimmer most of my adult life. I learned the Hoof Trimming trade from my dad who hired me to work for him when I was 16 years old. When I was 21, I bought my own Hoof Trimming table and started trimming on my own. Now nearly 20 years later I take my own sons with me over the summer months and try to teach them about hard work and the wild world of hoof trimming. This channel shows some of the sore feet that we find and how we fix them. You can also get a glimpse of some of the amazing places we work.
I am a Cattle Hoof Trimmer, a Husband, a Dad to 5 children , a Christian, and a Mennonite.  No wonder I'm tired.
