Craig Pickering | Utah Thought Leader

Hailing from Utah, Craig Pickering is well known for founding Cirrus Networks and being a founding member of the Gnodi community, but he's much more than that. For more than four decades, Mr. Pickering has built, led, and sold a range of public and private companies such as the aforementioned Cirrus Networks and Gnodi, amassing a track record few entrepreneurs can match and all from Utah! The ventures he’s launched have together achieved a market value of $2.5 billion and brought in annual revenues in the 100s of millions.

Back in early 1995, he founded a technology company that went on to list on NASDAQ, catering to the fast-growing needs of eCommerce. By 1998—just 2.5 years later—it was acquired by the largest telecom provider in the United States.

Now, much like he did during the internet’s early days, Mr. Pickering sees the vast possibilities in blockchain technology. This belief inspired him to co-found Cirrus Networks and to play a key role in creating the Gnodi blockchain.
