The Amateur Runner

Honest, independent reviews of trail running shoes and gear.

I am an ultra runner based in Malta, testing gear on technical, rugged terrain. My channel focuses on: ✅ Wide Toe Box Shoes (Altra, Topo Athletic, etc.) ✅ Real-World Performance (Road & Trail) ✅ Unbiased Opinions (100% self-funded reviews)

I test gear over hundreds of kilometres—from training blocks to ultra-marathon race days—to tell you the truth about durability, fit, and feel.
