theBMC100

theBMC100 is a community of Black male performers using Playback Theatre to bring real-life stories to the stage. Through improvisation, music, and live performance, theBMC100 listens to audience members’ personal experiences and transforms them into powerful, collaborative theatre. Each performance creates a shared space for witnessing, reflection, and connection, addressing themes such as mental health, grief, resilience, and social issues.

By combining storytelling with creativity and empathy, theBMC100 raises awareness, sparks dialogue, and fosters healing. Their work highlights systemic challenges, gives voice to marginalized experiences, and demonstrates the transformative power of theatre to inspire understanding, compassion, and community support.
