O Perfume da Tangerina

You have a story you have never told all the way through.

Here you learn to write yours: where to start, what to do when the text locks up, how to make a page good, and what to do with it once it is done. You do not have to call yourself a writer. You have to want to tell it.

Writing does not erase what happened. It makes room for the rest.

I am Thais Marques, an award-winning writer, author of O Perfume da Tangerina (Editora Patuá), and I teach expressive writing.

This is writing. It is not a substitute for professional care.
