Sideshow Walter

I reached financial independence (FIRE) at 39, and today I live off my portfolio in Italy.

I’m an engineer with a passion for investing and personal finance. On this channel, I share how I invest, how I manage my wealth, and what life after financial independence really looks like.

📊 INVESTING — Portfolio updates, ETFs, stocks, bonds, asset allocation, and investment strategies. I share the numbers, the reasoning behind my decisions, and what I learn along the way.

🔥 FIRE — Saving, family finances and managing a portfolio for the long term. I share my real-world experience, from reaching financial independence to figuring out how to make it sustainable.

🌱 LIFE AFTER FIRE — I talk about everyday life, freedom, family, and the less-discussed sides of FIRE, including the doubts and challenges that come with leaving the traditional career path.

My approach is analytical, curious, and open-minded. I like understanding how things work and challenging my ideas against real-world data.
