Telehealth Psychology Australia (THPA)

Telehealth Psychology Australia is a Queensland telehealth psychology practice run by two registered psychologists, Mathew van Velsen and Lloyd Talbot. We see clients by secure video across Australia, from cities and suburbs to rural and remote communities.

On this channel we share plain-language videos about mental health and psychology: common experiences like anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout and grief, practical skills you can try, and what actually happens in a telehealth session. We also explain how funding works, including Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plans, NDIS and WorkCover QLD.

Our videos are general information only. They aren't a substitute for individual advice from your GP or a psychologist.

We are not a crisis service. If you need urgent support, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or 13YARN on 13 92 76, or call 000 in an emergency.
