SymphoCat | Long Whale Song

SymphoCat is the ambient music project of composer, producer and performer Ilia Pucheglazov, creating immersive soundscapes at the intersection of ambient, modern classical music, minimalism, field recordings and experimental electronics.

For more than 15 years, Ilia has explored music as a way of listening more deeply — to nature, technology, silence, memory and the inner world. His work moves between cinematic atmospheres, meditative drones, electronic textures and organic recordings.

In 2019, SymphoCat released Long Whale Song, a two-hour ambient journey inspired by whales, the ocean and the vulnerability of the natural world. Its title track later became a global viral success, bringing his music to a wider international audience.

From the depths of the ocean to distant landscapes and imagined worlds, SymphoCat creates music for listening, dreaming, remembering and discovering something within the silence.
