SV Ocean Bird

Hey everyone, welcome to the channel!

My name’s Sean, and together with my wife Evelyn and our dog Buddy, we’re coming to you from the west coast of British Columbia. Out here, life moves a little differently—more ocean, more weather, and a whole lot of adventure.

This channel is all about my journey with a very special boat—my 1956 Allen Farrell wooden sailing vessel, Ocean Bird. What makes her even more meaningful is that I didn’t just buy her ready to go… I found her over 10 years ago as an empty hull and brought her back to life. Every plank, every detail, every challenge—you’re going to see what it really takes to upkeep and own a classic wooden boat.

If you’re into boats, craftsmanship, ocean life, or just want to follow a real journey of turning something old into something incredible, you’re in the right place.
So hit subscribe, come along for the ride, and let’s see where Ocean Bird takes us.

See you out there.
