SVALYN

SVALYN is a Swiss-based Nordic music project created by Alva & Vidar, rooted in the old songs of Sweden and the Faroe Islands.

Alva is the voice and the face of SVALYN. Vidar shapes the drums, the drones and the sound behind her.

Svalinn is the shield that stands before the sun. Without it, the world would burn. She is the sun. He is the shield.

War drums, herding calls, ritual chants and modern bass, for everyone who still hears the North beneath the noise.
