Surrender is a scary word. Hearing it feels like losing what keeps you in charge. We all like to be in control of something. For some, it’s control over everything. Sometimes we hold on to things that we treasure immensely to assure ourselves of a grip on life. Every aspect, from our relationships to parenting, finances, career goals, singlehood, marriages, and friendships. Have you ever at one time felt like, the issue in God’s hands, is not there anymore and therefore you have no control, and that you can’t bear the anguish of waiting in the dark? 

When we are asked to hand it over to God,  we indeed struggle with it, because we relinquish our position and wait for what we cannot see, and this causes us anxiety, i know that everyone of us has been there, but the good news is, when we do we trade it for peace that surpasses our human understanding
