SunGold Vanilla

Welcome to my channel! I’m Allen Simmons, a foreigner living in the Philippines with a dream to build SunGold Vanilla—a 1-hectare vanilla farm starting from a small starter plot. This channel follows my journey starting from nothing and learning how to grow premium vanilla beans in a tropical climate. I’ll share the real process: planting vanilla vines, building shade, caring for orchids, hand pollination, harvesting, curing beans, and developing the farm step by step. You’ll see the successes, failures, experiments, and lessons as I work toward growing and eventually exporting Philippine-grown vanilla to the world. If you’re interested in vanilla farming, tropical agriculture, farm life, expat life in the Philippines, or watching a dream become a business, subscribe and follow along. This is the start of SunGold Vanilla.
