Sunderland Theatre Company

Sunderland Theatre Company is a non-profit theatre company based in the City of Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. We perform a variety of concerts, musicals and one-off productions throughout the year. The group was founded in 1893 by George F. Vincent, a local businessman who owned a music shop, and became a charity in 2002. Our aim is to involve people from all walks of life in the dramatic arts, and to help members to develop a variety of transferable skills such as public speaking and event organisation, as well as having fun both on stage and off.
