Suki Kooky - Suki the Storyteller

Hi! My name is Sukanya, but you can call me Suki :). I am an Indian storyteller, theatre artiste and self taught filmmaker, creating and curating stories for an urban and globalised desi palate :). I grew up around the country and, weirdly, also briefly lived in a remote little town in north west Russia. My life experiences has been something straight out of an adventure book! As a child I escaped into the world of stories every chance I got. Be it in the form of a book, a musical, a movie or a play. I’ve been writing stories since the early 2000s when I was 9 years old. And now, over two decades later, I’m telling stories again - some my own, some I love, and some that need to be told to the world.
