Subtone Music Academy

Subtone turns half-finished ideas into label-ready tracks. Founded by electronic-music heavyweight Jason Herd (Beatport #1s / Toolroom, Defected, Soulfuric, Subliminal, Elrow), and shaped by mentoring and working with hundreds of artists inc. D.O.D, Mark Knight, Barbara Tucker & Todd Terry, we kept seeing the same bottlenecks: mindset, arrangement flow, mixes that don’t translate. Our fix is a straight line: road-map → mindset → workflow → pro mix & master.

Learn to finish music, use your ears, production tools, and feel music.
