Stuart Michael Thomas

Stuart Michael Thomas is a film composer and music producer with over two decades of experience across major studio films, independent features, and award-winning television. He has collaborated with leading composers including James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, Brian Tyler, and Blake Neely, delivering music that combines technical precision with emotional depth.

Thomas’ career breakthrough came as co-producer of the Oscar-nominated Michael Clayton score. His arrangements and guitar work feature prominently in Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, with additional music contributions to Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Most recently, he scored the psychological sports drama The Cut, directed by Sean Ellis, and co-composed the near-future sci-fi film Per Aspera Ad Astra with Kevin Riepl.
