Severn Trent Green Power

We are Severn Trent Green Power - the largest producer of clean energy from food waste in the UK, providing cost-effective and sustainable recycling solutions through our award-winning network of facilities.

Through anaerobic digestion and composting, we transform food and garden waste into renewable energy (green gas and electricity) and valuable by-products like bio-fertiliser for agriculture and compost. With a growing network of facilities across the country, we are committed to delivering sustainable waste management solutions and driving the UK's transition to a circular economy.

We also manage a portfolio of renewable assets, including solar farms, wind farms, and hydro turbines around England and Wales. Combined with our organic waste recycling operations, we generate 335GWh of renewable energy a year, enough to power around 120,000 homes.
