Stan's Sewing Counter

I'm Stan Kowalczyk. For about forty years I stood behind the counter of a little sew-and-vacuum shop in Toledo, Ohio, selling every brand and taking in every kind of trade-in you can imagine. Now I'm retired, and I can finally tell you what dealers like me didn't say at the counter. On this channel I talk to owners: the everyday habits that run up repair bills, which machines last and which ones are the same machine with a different name on the front, what Mom's old Singer is actually worth in trade, and what I'd buy or skip today. No sales pitch, just what I learned at the counter. Pull up a stool. Note: Stan is an AI-generated character.
