Spelling Bee Association of Lesotho

Established in 2016 and in partnership with Ministry of Education and Training, SBALE stands as a beacon of educational empowerment in the heart of Lesotho.

It's mission is to enhance a Mosotho child's educational experience by encouraging self-confidence, public & professional speaking, and vocabulary expansion in English as a foundation to scholastic achievements.

SBALE seeks to be 'Africa’s premier and most preferred platform in building confidence, English literacy and life lasting skills through vibrant and interactive spelling bee competitions.'

Operating in 8 districts of Lesotho, SBALE has also attracted interest in countries such South Africa and Zimbabwe which come to its competitions every year, with Mr MW Mohlala of BBKS Academy as its ambassador in SA.
