An emerging contemporary music artist and award winning composer Bertalan’s musical style combines free jazz, film music, and world music sonorities.
He is a composer of several films including one chosen as the best animated short film of the Manchester Film Festival.
Bertalan also works with university students and directors and collaborates with visual artists such as the Light Up Collective and Beeldjutters focusing on audio visual projection art.
Bertalan has performed improvised piano on many prominent concert stages from Budapest to the Netherlands, and played in several jazz bands and improvised music ensembles.
He composes for games, movies, theatre, and is interested in exploring any platform for creating music and developing exciting ideas.
