Sonic Civil Alert

Sonic Civil Alert is a community-based online radio and digital media project rooted in Inverclyde and connected to wider movements locally, nationally and internationally. It brings together music, storytelling and documentation to capture how communities are already building practical alternatives.

This project documents everyday efforts: neighbours growing food together, volunteers building resilience, young people reimagining futures, and communities creating systems that work better for everyone. At its core is a non-profit, community-driven platform designed to amplify these realities and make them more visible, connected and repeatable.

Sonic Civil Alert operates strictly on a non-profit basis. It is not established to generate profit for members or directors; any surplus is reinvested into strengthening broadcasts, supporting community projects, and maintaining the tools and infrastructure needed to keep the signal going. - SC895017
